    DIG IT OUT.

what better story could you possibly find? come on, barn finds are known.. but how
many people here have dug their car out of it's grave and gave it life agian!?

don't be lazy.. get crazy.. ask the owner.. pay him if you have to and get out
and revive it! and as many as you can get.

You have lots of people telling you to dig it out, but nobody offering to help lol. Just cut it under the belt line and save the top of the body and the doors. You start digging and next thing you know it'll have a frame and axles. Unless you want to be an automotive archaeologist.....

The original poster went out there and started digging. When he tried to start pulling all the rocks out of the inside the resident snakes under said rockpile took offense to it and bit him many times.

As he lay there dying and thinking about being snake food he wondered where all his buddies from the Hamb were, the ones who wanted him to dig in the first place. :D

I advised to rent a backhoe, they are great for killing snakes, shovels are for chain gangs.

    update please

Back in the 70'2y brothers and I dug one of these out of the silt by hand. It had been burried when the Columbia River damn was completed, and had been under water off and on for years. All we saw was a wheel sticking out of the dirt, we started digging with sticks, then shovels the next day. Imagine our suprise when we pulled out (with a Cat, a whole tractor. It was burried upside down, so the oil sat in the cylinders for all that time. It still turned over. (no we didn't drive it home.. it's still there as yard art.
