SAM FOOSE - Under The Weather

I meant Sam at Winfields when he was in Canoga Park, what a great person, get well soon Sam !!!

I met Sam on one of the Americruises years ago. very pleasant guy, get well soon .

 

get well soon sam.. sam is a great guy , as a teenager my family would go camping at lake cachuma about 10 miles from sams house/shop . i would hop on my bicycle and ride over to see what was goin on and he would always greet me with a laugh and a smile and let me roam around and see what they were building at the time. i would thank him for being so nice to me and not sending me away and he would say no problem and we dont have any secrets here kid .. it was the best part of the camping trip for me

 

I'm lucky to call sam my friend. Worked with him on a joint prodject for a mutual friend and became friends. A real legend. Talk to him at the gnrs then heard from a guy that works for him he had a heart problem that sunday. Saw his guy today and he said basically what roger said. Get better my friend. Billy

My thoughts are with you and your family.
I had never met Sam until the GNRS not even two weeks ago. I saw him at the Hall of Fame lunch, and decided to introduce myself, and thank him for all the great cars he had been building over the years. (I'm a big fan of his work)
And to my surprise he even knew who I was, and that he had answered a letter I wrote him about the Sectioned 1949 Ford he built based on a Harry Bradley Design... that was at least ten years ago!. We talked for a bit and he is such a great guy!
I really hope he gets well soon, and enjoy life again!.
