    Thanks a lot guys.

We got some more crap done yesterday, but not anything to photograph. Vince has his bonneville roadster all ready to go, and came down to help. He's doing all the wiring and it is looking awesome. Simple, clean and organized.

Here's some pictures of Vince's wiring on the dash. Everything is weatherpacked and can be unplugged and pulled out. It's pretty sweet. The dash is painted and all assembled ready to be put in.

Hey michael, if this heap makes it down there you can forget about riding in it. You can drive it, do brodies, burnouts, pick up chicks, whatever you want.

Vince does great work. I've known Vince my whole life, he's been my dads friend for like 30 years. He's a hot rodder, land speed racer, all around awesome guy. Anything he touches comes out perfect and does it's job perfect.

He's also in the 200 mph club. How cool is that!

As I re read this post it started to sound like a love letter, its not he's just a great friend. Haha

    You too Eric, you too.

  16. Funny how you can totally miss a thread here. Fantastic hot rod you are building. Love the sedans more than the coupes. I'm taking my nephews with me to Bonneville this year. I hope we see you down there so I can show them a real hot rod that's been built right here in our area. (doing my best to get em interested in our hobby).

  17. Dam ! I sure hop you amke it to speed week this year, as I would really like to see it.....Very kool build by you & your dad.

Thank you, Bring em on over if you see it around.

Thank you. This weekend will really be the deciding factor if it will make the trek or not. Fingers crossed everything goes well and no major problems.

Haha, no I weighed the plugs out of the doors and I don't think it was even a pound! I might of saved 10 lbs total? Everything helps I guess to get the weight down on this ol' hearse.

My dad, brother and I put the dash and wood kit in the car last night. The parts pile is dwindling little by little.

    It Runs!!!

It will not have the tri power on it at this time. The "remanufactured AC Delco" tri power carbs were useless. We thought it was a dead mag at first so we switch to my dads vertex, no better. Pulled the carbs off and the bases were totally warped and pitted to hell, butterflys ground on, wouldn't seal. So we decided to pull the intake and swap on a single 4 barrel. I had an old "say why and" weiand intake and new holley 600cfm carb waiting.

It fired off and roared to life.

I just got word that the Strange 35 spline axles showed up today and I'm picking up my driveline tonight, so within the next couple days it might be able to get its first test drive.

    5 days til blast off
