San Diego Area HAMB'ers

So I'm sitting inside surfing the web and shuffling through old car mags getting ideas and admiring how cool the cars and people were in the '50's & '60's, because
it's a "Snowday" in "October" here in the Rockies. Freakin 21" of snow in this storm alone, it's not winter yet and I'm not even in the damn mountains! When all of the sudden I hear about this air fare special on t.v.. So I'm thinking; #1.Somewhere warm #2. Somewhere I have never been and #3. My love for Tiki Bars. Well eventually google takes me to a few in the San Diego area, so couple hundred bucks later and the wife and I are booked for So-Cal! We're going on a "Tiki Bar Tour" in December, HELL YEAH, I can dig that!
But, any other suggested cool places around the area Tiki or Hot-rod related would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Perfect place to stay. good restaurants, bars and lots of great people watching.
