I've always gone to Ecology In Chula Vista. Lately I have found nothing there. I'm looking for stuff from 60's cars, mainly Buicks. How is the pick your part in Chula Vista? Anyone know of anywhere with a stash of 60's cars? in or nearby (20-30 miles) in San Diego to pick through?

How about North County? I need to go to Escondido on Thurs. I've never looked up there. The way the Housing has expanded aronde here, we're lucky to have what we do unfortunately. At least Ecology sells the better cars as projects. Found a 62' Bonneville there, for $1200 a 59 caddy 4 door hardtop for $800 with a brush paint job, and a 60' Chrysler Saratoga with the cool dash for 800. about a month ago, they were selling a 55' Buick 4 door hardtop with the roof cut off and a chevy motor for $1000. I never have money when any of the cool cars are selling (or the space) but they still get them.

When I lived in El Cajon years ago, there was an old junkyard past Lakeside. Not sure what is was called exactly, but it was on Hwy 67 or somewhere going to Ramona. Went there a few times looking for parts for my 65' chev p/u. Good luck.

BTT. I just arrived in San Diego (last night) for a couple of months, and am looking for any junk yards nearby (50 miles) that have or sometimes have old stuff in them. I have been in Europe for 10 years, so I need a American junk yard fix badly!
