Event Coverage San Diego events this weekend ?

Are there any car shows, events in the San Diego area this weekend? Are there any good hot rod shops to visit in the area. Thanks.

 

I guess I should revise my request to include any drive in type events in the local area. Maybe there are cruise nights at local restuarants etc. Just want to see some local hot rods or customs....

 

drive up to El Mirage on sunday for the dry lakes races.

 

I know tonight is the Hot Summer nights in Fallbrook - me and a couple bros should be there - not sure if Escondido and El Cajon are having theres tonight or not

HotRods and Custom Stuff is a good lil shop in Escondido to check out

 

oh yea and theres always a group of really nice rods on Saturday morning in Bonsall at one of the breakfast shops - think they have teir deal posted on the events list

Cruzin' Grand in Escondido tonight (Friday). Parking on street for '74 and older American cars.

Lots of Hot Rod shops in Escondido area. No really good speed shops though.

Check out socalcarculture.com ...events and cruises always listed on there and the WHEELS section in the Saturday San Diego union tribune newspaper usually lists the weekend car events

 

theres a vintage auto swap near pinacle peak's in lakeside sat. moring

 

If you are going to be in San Diego this weekend then you have to go to Fiesta Island for the Over the Line tournament...no hotrods to speak of but looks to look at!

 

Oops forgot the show at Simpson's Nursery in Jamul on Sunday...
