Anyone living in the San Diego area know a machine shop with flathead Dodge experience, or one you would trust? Thanks.
Motor Machine in national city. Have not had a motor machined, but they did a nice job on an aluminum head for my 230 a number of years ago.
A 230 Mopar flathead six has to be one of the easiest engines around to work on. Replaceable valve guides, adjustable lifters from the start, Block sits square on a flat surface. No black magic involved.
I know it's not a complicated motor, but I want the crank cross drilled and the main bearings machined. I'd rather ask than just pick one. Thanks for the information.
