Sandblasting an engine, good idea or not..

    Word up. Front and back. And, I'd think reman water pump too. :(

    I just think sand blasting creates more problems than it solves.:rolleyes:

    I've tryed almost everything.. for the money NOTHING works better than cheap oven cleaner

    well, i dragged the lift and engine outside, soaked it with gunk and oil eater that i had on the shelf, should've put on a rain coat, and power washed for about 1/2 an hour, turned out wayy better than i thought it would. only have some touch up spots to clean tomorrow before i'm ready to paint.. thanks all for the insight on NOT to sand blast.
