Started on my next project a 1948 Dodge 1/2 PU. This is by far the most rust and rot. I have pulled all of the sheet metal, doors, fenders etc off. I plan on taking everything for sandblasting. I just knocked out the big chucks of rust and bdy putty and whatever else the previous chucklehead used for fill. I ***umed it would be easier after its blasted to see what and where needs to be cut out. Tips and Advice

depending on how bad it is (might be left with nothing to work with) blasting is a good way to see what u really got

Try to remove all the built up grease, undercoat and ****.Sandblasting won't remove anything soft,it just embeds it with sand.Coat it with something quickly if you can't put it in a climate controlled area.Condensation will rust it back very quickly.
