I have been to a lot of car shows and this one is up near the top. The cars were top notch and I was sitting there wondering when I was watching one of the bands play how much money and hours of work was sitting in this venue in cars? It took quite a while to make it around to see them all. I would think we were done seeing new stuff and we would realize there was a hole corner we missed.

As far as shit cars. I saw a couple cars that would be classified as rat...not many though.

I saw a few kustoms that were too new for my taste but not many.

I did see quite a few that were paste the cut off date but fit in perfectly.

I talked to some vendors and they said sales were going strong! I talked to some guys that cruised Broadway and they said they had fun and had a ball with the pro street group of cars that came out that night.

I did not see any fights, not even an arguement, no stabbings or shootings/gangs as a lot of people on here said SM is known for the last couple years. I saw maybe two cops inside and a couple outside.

This is quite possibly the single best event I have been to in a day car show wise.

As I said before there were lots of famous builders/people there. I saw quite a few but did not talk to any of them. Two I wish I had said hi to were Jack Rudy and Cole Foster.

Yeah much RESPECT to Mrs.Penny and the whole WEST COAST KUSTOMS crew they now how to put togeher a event....if you did not make it there is always next year...

Spectacular display of Kustoms! Like one meber said "We are living in the good old days!" I wasn't alive back in the Barris era, but would take allot of convincing to get me to believe that todays cars aren't as good as "back in the day". Plus they start and stop better and might be more reliable. Thanks for taking the time to share.
As I write this, Florida is being bombarded with thunderstorms, for the 7th consecutive day. Was looking at all those cars with no tops and thinking...aint no way we could have this show down here right now!

Wow, thanks for the pics, the other thread I looked at had about half crap and half cool. You definitely got the cool covered much better.

 

Great pics of the show ,looks good as always miss not being there ! Building new vehicle maybe next year !! Like to show it off for Penny and Rich miss him !

 

Thank you for all the appreciation. I'm happy to know everyone is enjoying the pictures! I can't wait to have my own car there to take pictures of too! The show was pretty freaking awesome. I have to believe that is one of, if not, the best car shows in the world... If PhatCaddy is right and I hope he is about the cruise next year, that will absolutely put the show over the top!

The Zephyr will definitely be making the drive up there on it's own next year!!!
