So "santa" has been hanging onto a small t-bucket body for quite some time. And has decided that one lucky kid needed a traditional hotrod under the tree this year.

He and the elves are working overtime after finishing there wooden toy quota.
He started by making them bend a solid axle, spindles and harpins out of the sleighs old carrage pins, and the elfs stole the wheels off the jolly fat guys office chair. (He totally stole the design from speedway and Ed roths outlaw) images (1).jpeg 20221206_180903.jpg 20221206_180910.jpg 20221207_125045.jpg 20221207_171620.jpg

Once that was figured out they figured it need to steer. Another elf, when santa wasn't looking, stole the tach sending unit off the oliver tractor santa bought in his "farming phase" that didn't work out in the south pole, and made some joints and trimmed it down

Now that the front was figured out, it was time for the body and rear frame/suspension.

    20221209_171138.jpg

He made sat in it once and realized his years of cookies and milk, caused him to not fit in it with his bag of toys, so he turned a t-bucket, into a tub

    20221209_180100.jpg 20221209_182606.jpg

With that figured out, misses clause found the old fram that was made for it in the shed out back so they gafted it to the new stub

    20221209_190759.jpg

And with a little t******* and Rudolph's help, they ratchet strapped the tub to his antlers and slowly lowered it down.

Ebay was experiencing delays in shipping,
(Apperntly it's difficult to ship their,) so the electric scooter rear end hadn't showed up yet.

So they made a temporary rear axle and made it a roller.

Tune in next time to find out if santa remembers how to fibergl*** and lower the front a little and try to make it look something like this.

After a few cold ones, a slightly inebriated santa clause and elves broke out the tape and try to come up with ideas for the front.

One mostly, sometimes the others help scavenge parts. Even caught him working on his lunch break

Very cool! It reminds of a Make It Custom episode on YouTube where Carl works on a mini Buick...

I would like to continue this thread if everyone's ok with it here I know it's not a "real" car but a traditional ( as I can ) hotrod go cart, I might rename it, so I can show it finished
