satin or glossy black????

    If its glossy you better be sure the body is perfect. sand, guide coat, primer, sand guide coat primer, sand guide coat primer. Repeat. I hate body work.

    I'm stuck in between. I want to drive this car alot. I'm afraid if it's a tight glossy finish I will worry more about it than a satin finish, and that I could touch it up whenever..Although if I go thru the time to smooth it out why not go glossy.. So far looks like glossy. Wifes in the back ground saying told ya so..

  20. I vote for gloss even though I painted my truck Semi-Gloss,,,

    I would have liked to paint it gloss but I didn't really want to spend the time and money to get it that way,,,but it would have looked better.HRP

    I just saw a Lexus painted satin black on that West Coast Customs show. Go with glossy.

    Centari is Duponts acrylic enamel. Its old school but looks nice.

    Well if this makes you feel better; i have been looking at your truck on and off for months becouse it looks great. It's one of the reasons I want ed to go satin. Thanks for the input..
