Not a park, that was false advertising, just some tarmac outside the local bowling alley. I posted up the traditional stuff, here's the stuff that didn't make the cut. A trio of ******* Oldsmobile's This one looked a lot like mine. 442 rag top with AC, PW, power antennae, AM/FM stereo, cold air induction, wonderful How about an AMX? Ford GT Here is that Nova in the back ground I didn't find the owner to see if it was a Yenko Deuce but it sure looked like an LT-1 under the hood. And a no nonsense interior like a yenko would have.
This was a nice Elky Little rick racer for my taste but you can't deny the level of detail Clean inside and out Just about perfect. I love square fords. This was a fine example Another fine Elky
Mopar or no car? If so, you were safe There were a few fruit flavors to chose from Cute chevys Couple more book ends That SS was pretty nice I always wanted one of these when I was a kid. Hatchback Nova. This one was clean And for sale Gotta love the Olds Nice to see one at a show, no less three side by side Another clean BBC What's not to love? Go check out the thread on the regular forum and see the rest of the pics. Then turn off your damn computer and go drive something cool!
Right? I drove in and out, didn't smoke, body was straight, respectable paint, new tires and wheels. It was a nice little car.
I love the little Yenko. The Deuce was kind of a neat car with the LT-1 in it vs a 427. If its a clone, it is a really well done one. I was parked next to legit one at the Forest Grove Concours years ago with my Camaro and went over the car most of the day going over details.
I've seen a legit Deuce and this one had all the right t*******s right down to the very standard interior and bench seat. It also wasn't over restored, no stencil marks or chalk marks, those always lead to believe they are phonies (trying too hard). One thing I did notice were the headers (I guess that is actually two things). I cannot say if Yenko added headers, I don't think so, Nickey and Motion more than likely did. But I like the fact that this one had 'em. Too easy to have slipped some ram horns on it to look like a stocker LT-1. Just a theory.
Yenko usually didnt add headers, none of the Camaro's ever did. Usually though almost everyone of them got them as soon as the owner got the car and anymore its kind of overlooked unless at the tip top level of original showing. Most restored stock 69 Z/28s have long tubes on them to make the 302 run like it should, lol. high rev small blocks need to breathe! Yeah the chalk and stamp marks are usually over done as it was really ***embly line dependent if cars actually got any.
Nova Hatchback! WOW! I had one of those. Hugger orange, Buckskin interior. with AR 200S Daisy Spokes, and new Goodyear GT Radials. And an anemic 307. Hatchback leaked with every Florida thunderstorm. Guy came in my work one day and wanted to buy the wheels. I said, like a smart ***, “No thanks, but you can buy the whole car”. He asks, “How much”? Threw out a crazy high price, and damn if he didn’t say OK! ****!
There were better looking cars but for some reason I liked this little "hot hatch" from Chevy. I didn't golf back then, but what a great little club caddie.
