Saturday Pop progress: Steering!

    Check out this steering column. It's from an early Morris Minor, and the whole column rotates, turning in a bush at the column drop. I mated it to my Anglia 105E steering box, shortening the original shroud to just a few inches long. The Morris banjo wheel will need restoring, but I'm pleased with the way it came out.

    The shortened shroud makes for more clearance at the exhaust manifold stud.

    Pedals; clutch; gearstick; steering. Nuther tick in the box.

    Nice one Mart I have one of those of my 55 minor , keeping it for a rainey day
