Thinking I got myself into some trouble here... Looking like a'25 c-cab amongst other things.... Also got this other frame for a future project... Wheels I believe are T not sure on the frame as of yet.
As Squirrel said, its savable, everything is, some just require more cash and time than others. It all comes down to cash flow, and personal ability. If I was a wealthy man, I'd save em all.
I see a lot of good sheet metal there. Front fenders look very usable. As Squirrel said, the spare frame isn't T.
That aftermarket distributon on the T will bring you some bucks, what brand is it? The chassis with the odd springs may be Overland. Good save, grab that cast iron piece in photo three. Bob
If that spare frame isn't scaled badly might go over it for any stamped in numbers, that could help ID it to year and make.
Looks like a great find, especially as it's a C Cab, but then I'm biased. I saw a magazine article on a build where the guy put '25 T C Cab tin on an 70s era chevy truck chassis, looked good, I'll try and dig up some info. That frame..quarter elliptics? Dunno. Did TT trucks have quarter elliptics? I'll check it out.
Had a look on google images, don't think that frame is TT, they had semi elliptic just like a regular T:
I noticed the after market distributor on the T also. I wonder if there is any other speed goodies in that engine? 2 speed rear end perhaps?
Thanks for your comments... As soon as I get everything out and hauled home I will post more Pics. and ask a lot of questions I am sure. I think the other frame is circa. 1916 Chevy as referenced to in this link.http://www.tomlaferriere.com/1922BuickSpeedster.htm
