Bingams in ashbrough nc is closing on feb 28th. on mar 5-6 every thing is to be auctioned off. remaning cars are to be crushed.

 

thosands of cars here. chance to pick up cheap parts cars, some fairly complete too.

 

any hambers got more info. batt in camera died befor i could take a phot of the auction sign.

Do you have any way to haul a car or two? I am out here in Monterey Tenn. and I would definitely like to "save" a few of those. I have the place to store them, but I don't have any way to haul them.

 

this is the junkyard on 49 in denton nc near richerds atuo salvage. im posting all i know so dont ask me any questions. maybe some other guys can fill us in.

Wonder how many times this has happened over the last 20 years? The Tennessee boys should try to make a field trip out of this before they close.

i hear they get $100 for a crushed car. even for bad parts cars you can make that back in parts.

 

Makes me sick. I'll bet some of that stuff goes cheap, too.

hopes someone posts some more info soon. I"m curious as to how cheap things will sell for, cos it has to be real cheap for me to afford it. If It'd be worth it though I might be able to get a friend of mine with a big rig to go out there with me, if the stuff cheap enough. Anyone know if they are selling stuff off cheaper now, or are they still normally priced until the auction?

hey z, how much 30's stuff was out there? Looks like mostly 40's & 50's stuff from the pics. I've meant to go cheka that place out for the past couple of years, but never had cos I always heard they wanted too much $$ for stuff.
