  1. Dang.....go alumnus !! Glad to see a program that lets high school students play with cars still. A lot have been eliminated sadly....... It's looking good man. Keep it up, and good luck !

Awesome seeing a school project like this.

  3. thanks, we are preparing the rear axle to be moved forward. The stock set up has a quarter elliptical set up. we may be able to remove helper springs and add bags. We plan to Z the front frame and keep the straight axle.

got the bus in the shop. We are setting the ride height and rear axle placement. Hope to have the rear section back on at the end of the week.

I wish I was enrolled at your school ( post grad)- great project;would be cool set up on a 4X4 truck frame, but that's probably not a traditional build for a bus! Keep up the good work! Oh, and I like the "Holy Roller" name also.

  6. thanks Im not a big 4x4 fan and slamming a school bus is probably not very traditional. We are however using some traditional tricks to accomplish our goals

John Force had a school bus built on one of the car shows for tv. Diesel makes sense, but not much of a hot rod, if you can pull project funding by going diesel it may be the answer.

I'd make a stupid short bus joke but... You adding the Phillips chapel graphic back in the mix? Fun project.

  9. whats funny is that the section we removed says "Holy Church of Chris" whan the rear section is re installed it will say "Phillips Chapet"

Nice bus! I'd love to find one like that (but a Dodge :D) though it looks like I'll be tackling an old transit bus. No where near as stylish.
