I can't believe how nice the chrome looks!

I saved my '51 from the crusher as well,the guy was going to have it hauled off to the junkyard but my uncle scooped it up.

 

The P23 is a 1952 218ci .......a 1951 should have had a P22

 

Nice save! A 3-window to boot. I can't believe the @$$hole vandals didn't break the windows too... very fortunate!

 

I always love it how vandals break headlights and taillights but leave the virtually irreplaceable, body style specific curved gl*** alone... I know this from experience with my 50 dodge..... everything was smashed but my rear window.

 

Got one just like it (a little more modified, though). IMO they look much better with a mild chop and the pillar and back window laid forward...
