Chris, try this, go to a place that sells benjamin moore paint and find a paint swatch that matches the color. have a little mixed in their "porch and patio" enamel. thinned it will "dust on" and blend some of the real bad spots.

I started a thread on the antiquated, but for those who are curious, here’s how the almost finished product came out. I did the body swap last weekend. I ended up buying a running/driving 59 F-100 4x4 that has a really rusty body and the swap was very simple. Still some clean up on the outside to finish, and the interior is partially done. It’s also getting 16” ford wheels with tall skinny knobby tires and it's good bumper.

Chris, you might need some cotton for your nostrils with that altitude. :D

I'm not one of those patina geeks.
But that truck is perfect! Just the right amount of crusty to shiny and standing tall and proud.
    Its a looker!

I don't save it - just sweep it up and into the garbage....

I love that color. That's a real truck.
Not wanting to upset anyone but I just can't figure out the new $70+K ones, loaded with high tech gadgets. To me it's strange.
This truck has survived 60 years and it will be around many more years.
