  4. Go for it. Aint gonna find a completed car like that in steel for that kinda cash.

I'd sure like to see you build a roadster (a driver) out of real steel, finished like that car, for 16k...

You, my HAMB poster, are a dreamer...

Just because it's 'glas does not make it any less desirable at that price...and hell, I don't even like Fords...

  7. Hard to say,,,if you have a problem with glass,,then I would say no.

Do you want instant gratification and want to enjoy driving a roadster? HRP

it really doesn't have any "wow" factor to it. kinda plain lookin. i would not spend 16K on that particular car. but there's an ass for every seat.

Well the yellow really brings the price down amd the glass body. Does it have IFS if not well they make paint and you could find a steel body but that would defeat the paying 16grand :D

Wait a sec. $16K is a good price for a Tupperware roadster, but $15.5K is too much for a nice shoebox convertible?

I didn't say it was a "good" price...stop reading other words in my reply. I said it was desirable for that price...and I think even you'll agree, a roadster is far more desirable than a '51 Ford convert.

Now then, would I pay that for either car...??? You can figure out that one...In the last statement on my reply, I said I didn't like Fords...!!!

I would have a hard time calling it a 1929 Ford when someone asked me what it was. It is a good price though.

not for a finished, running driving car like that. If it were steel the price would be way higher. That top alone probably cost a couple grand. It also looks like it has a full interior, and decent paint job. That's probably an 8 or 9in rear under there too..probably a 4 link aftermarket suspension, rebuilt Chevy motor..etc. Those wheels look like Vintique repop wires..about $1,500 hundred worth of wheels and tires...It all starts to add up when you do the math.

I'd say its a fair deal. Kinda depends on the quality of the suspension, drivetrain, etc.....
In this economy, I'd go no more than 12k, but it's not something I'd be real interested in anyway.

Not much I can add. It's likely worth that if it's what you want.

    I'd pass.

You are a busy guy running your business. If you like it as is buy it. But if you are like most on this site you will probably want to change a few things, and if that is the case I would build something else. You could have the company buy it since it is the right color. Get one of the HAMB stripers to do some vintage type signage on the doors and use it as a shop car. Pile the guys in and go to lunch. You know, really enjoy it!

It would cost that much to make it, easily (glass or steel). The parts and efforts are the same extent, just different issues with the fiberglass vs the steel body.

    Me, Id pass.

Nope, there's no way a fiberglass Model A roadster is more desirable than a shoebox convertible.
