I'll tell you what... My first deployment to Iraq I got adopted by MissyD's (BenD's wife for those that don't know) class. I got all kinds of letters and card from a bunch of great kids. I gave out letters to my battles as well. still have a few of the Xmas cards and the Stocking they sent me.

Another deployment to Iraq and I think the most touching thing I ever recieved was a poem written by a girl my daughters age and handed to me at the Nashville airport as I was waiting to board the plane back to the sandbox after my leave.....I still feel like a tool for not emailing her back
