So I'm planning: 350 4 bolt, forged crank, 10.0-1 KB claimers based on 76cc, mild cam. Which would be better HP gain, the 2.02/1.60 L82 heads or some vortecs?

    Whats it going in?
I would stay away from vortecs intake gaskets are***** and not traditional.

  4. the fel pro gaskets work just dandy.
    traditional, maybe not.
    do they perform, yes.

Vortec heads are 64 cc- quite a bit smaller than 76cc. Check what this will do to your compression on any of the online compression checkers.

Also vortec heads will require a different intake as they use a different intake bolt pattern, and require centerbolt
valve covers if that matters to you. They will outflow any other stock factory head.
