Hot Rods SBC 4 bolt main bolts

Hi guys,,,,,especially Jim ,

Does anyone have the measurement on the short main bolts ,,,,,in a 4 bolt main SBC ?
Years ago,,,,I bought some factory main caps to convert a 2 bolt 010 block to 4 bolt .
The short bolts that came with them were not factory bolts,,,,,and didn’t look trustworthy .
(The threads looked pretty funky .)

Anyway,,,,,the bolts measured 2 inches under the head,,,,,the C direction measurement on a chart .
They looked about right in length,,,,I was just wanting to check to be certain .

OEM 4 bolt cap bolts have a 2” dimension as you quoted, they will also have the integral washer forged under the head and also the large X.

That’s what I thought .
Yeah ,,,,the flange head bolts work really well,,,,,,I like to use a similar style bolt in many other applications too .
