I remember the pair of Fentons you had. I think they had an old white header paint job on them. Ya' had them at the indoor Metrolina Show. I looked at them and talked to you about them. Memory is bad here. I thought that was before I bought my pair and before I knew what they really were. Either way, it was my mistake for not buying them .
Everyone SAID I was way crazy off on the price ( too high ) But I knew about the Black Widow stuff and held to my price. The guy I sold them to told me a few years later he turned down 8 or 9 hundred ... from some guy restoring a real Black Widow
Patricks called me today , said the Fentons would be in sometime next week. they`re on a boat in L.A. clearing customs . Just paid for mine , so anyone on the list should be getting a call........
"On a boat clearing Customs." Chinese most likely. Possibly Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore. Most likely China. Doesn't mean they are not good products. Chinese stuff can be good quality IF the agent you have is all over the manufacturer all the time.
Man I would love to pick up a set. I have been wondering what to do with my exhausts for my 265. One one hand I love the way that exhaust manifolds look, on the other hand I want my car to perform as best as it possibly can so headers seem like a good choice too! These Fentons might be the best of both worlds but if they are not going to clear my steering box then I am **** out of luck!

I was lucky. I found my old chrome plated Fenton headers at the now defunct Amherst, New Hampshire flea market. I didn't know what they were as he had them laying down on the exhaust side. The seller was asking $ 100.00 for them. I offered $ 75.00, but he said that he was already offered that much. I asked, what did they fit. He said small block Chevy as he flipped them over for me to see. I damn near broke my arm getting my wallet out. They are now on my period correct late 1950's roadster, 1955 Chevy 265" no oil filter engine, 1932 Ford transmission, front end and rear end. I am a happy boy. An 80 year old boy.
