If you can show a picture of the rocker arms that you have, we can tell if they need to be replaced or if you need guide plates.
With the push rod hole drilled out in the head you can use guide plates to center the rocker arm or you can use self aligning rocker arms and no guide plate.
So we need to know if your rocker arms are self aligning or not.

Drill out all the holes and get a set of Sportsman T & D shaft rockers. **** can all that junk. Jessel if you want to step up higher. The mail order box stores sell sets in the 450 range but I don't know where they are made. Best thing I ever did for our all iron circle track engine....

Little hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like you can use your rocker arms with guide plates.

If you decide on the guideplates you definitely need hardened pushrods.
I have a set of brand new in the box Crane chromoly pushrods(oem dimension),left over from my engine build, due to having numerous custom components it required longer than stock pushrods.
You can have them for $50 plus the mailing cost, which should be less than $10, that is a killer deal, see link below.

Two pushrods were used for checking rocker arm to valve stem contact only, these have never been ***embled in an engine, they are new, PM me if interested.

Being that the rockers were previously correct on the 993 heads your were using, which are cast in guided slot and non-self aligning, so they need to have either guide slot pushrod holes or guideplates if the holes have been drilled round.

Your factory push rod are hardened. You didn't need new ones unless the length was wrong.

No one mentioned checking for proper push rod length. Some times when swapping things around the engine will require a different length push rod. I would check just to be sure.
