Nope, not from Australia, from Finland...But from another side of the pond anyway. The tie end rod kit i have,i scored it from Ebay.I think its similar than the Shoebox-central kit is,but this one is made of chrome-moly.

Yeah,i could have done that.I mocked it up with tie end rods on the backside, but the tie end rods looks like they were in really weird angle when turning the wheels.I did some homework and searched pics of the upgrade kits from the internet and all the pics i found, the tie end rods were mounted on the front side. The centerblock wasnt reamed for the tie end rods,so that didnt tell me anything.I managed to ream it barelly...
I think that Nova pan will work, when using TH350.I have TH700 and that will push the motor forward around 2" and the Nova front sump will hit to the front crossmember.I dont like idea of notching the crossmember,so i thought that the modified stock pan will be my best shot.If i remember right,i bought the motor and transmission mounting kit from Shoebox-central.I could have made new transmission mounting bracket, but i wanted to be sure that there wont be any motor/firewall issues because the motor is mounted too much back.

Ok i figured only way to know for sure is slap a motor in it. . So i grabbed a spare small block i had laying around and went for it. I stuck 2 x 4's under the mounts and some s**** would 1 1/2 inch between steering and oil pan so here's how it sits..[IMG]

As you can see i will need to trim the firewall and hump. But other than that looks good to me. . Anyone know the angle the block should sit? I don't think it should be level. Maybe slightly angeled back? Not 100% sure. .
