    Hi All,
What engine oil pump and pan is needed to install a SBC in a 50 Ford Tudor with JAMCO dropped spindle front end? A 60's Nova perhaps?
    Thanks, Steve

If you do use the Nova front sump oil pan set up, be sure to use the correct oil pump and rod
that goes with it. It is not as tall as the regular sbc. If you use the wrong one, your distributor will not
seat flush and there will be no oil getting to the rockers. Bought a Nova just like that, and figured it out.
Good luck with the install. Cool.

    Thanks Bob,
I have a nice little late 283. Thinking that should be a nice motor for the Shoebox.

Yep I've done it two ways. Once with the Nova front sump pan and oil pump ***embly and one with the regular Chevy pan and you have to drop the center link. If I did another conversion I would do the Nova pan setup. Of course I bought this whole conversion for a customer's car and never put it in so it's been sitting on the shelf for a couple years if interested
