Anyone knows of a company that makes motor mount adapters to mount a 57 SBC motor to later side mounts thanks Bill
So you want to use a block without side mount bolt holes and are looking for an adapter that bolts onto the front of the engine block and runs back to attach to a frame mount for side engine mounts??
No. But... if you tell us what car you are trying to mount this old engine into, we might could help you figure out how.

Speedway sells them. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/1955...nlhRM8UR72q30k4UBQd9Kyd_qNJhat29k7RY5WU&gQT=2
Not what he's looking for.....that is to mount a block that has side mount bosses ('58+) into a tri five ...
Not being a mechanical engineer, but from front wrapped around to the side, would that be like mounting to the front only?
On 55, 56 and 57 blocks (and maybe a few others) with no provisions for side mounts the Hurst or Hurst style mount has been the go to mount to stick those engines in other chassis from the get go.
You can buy a Hurst style front mount, and then buy the Speedway bellhousing mounts to use at the bellhousing for the rear mount. Nobody makes a kit to adapt front mounts to a side mount style later car.
The guy that built my deuce pickup with a 265 made a Hurst style saddle mount that is angled forward on both sides to clear a stock fuel pump on the right and a Vega steering box on the left.
Posts #3 and #4 read properly. Side mount an early block in the whatever frame being used. I'm embarrassed to say I am splitting my attn. and skipped over @Mr48chev DING DING DING I stand responsible for my ignorance The call for pictures would address the mystery of where this block can be rested. Just caught post #13 he is on track. time out
