sbc plug wire question

    I remember seeing on here a while back that chevy in the 60's had plug wires factory routed around the valve cover, not over it. Any idea what year/car it was. Don't wanna spend the big bucks for the cut to fit if I don't have to....Scott

    I just scored a 327 out of a 68 pickup that had the "round the back" wire looms that you speak of.. I believe the 70 impala parts car I had also had the same.. so most likely cars of the late 60's would be a good place to look

  3. i use napa part # 700103 to run them down the back of the motor and then along the pan,then up under the exhaust. about $30

    Get hold of a catalog from a Corvette restoration place. They have all the little clips and pictures of how it goes together.
