I like that shade of red on the wheels. Looks kind of wine color?

Beautiful car. The wheel tire combo, the chop, the color, everything is right on in my book. I love it!

That's the point Hatch is making.

It's a practically perfect execution, simple, clean, well proportioned, in every way. It's easy to say, much harder to pull off.

That is what sets it apart, and makes it unique.....

    Yeah...I agree.

Sometimes our cars turn out like a well assembled cluster of parts, other times they don't.

Really nice car you have there. I assume you have a 32 frame? and 7:50x16 rear tires what about the front tire sizes? Thanks Gary M

Flattery gets ya everywhere!!:D The chassis, and grille is gennie 32, the front tires are 5.25/550 'Stones, the mill is 58 283, straight pipes, the trans 39 Ford. rear is 48 ford. Gas tank still in the cowl. The car was built around these tires and wheels. The car was a total resto that went hotrod a few years back. The interior - done in the 60's- was actually in the car before the resto, now back in with some minor mods. Pretty simple car, It's a snotty little driver that likes to run. I have more pics, but the best ones are on the Puyallup threads that were posted by Boones and Rolf. I will see if I have anymore pics. Hasn't been out much since Puyallup in July, that was the first show I had it at. I will have it at the Portland Roadster Show in a couple weeks just for fun, not for judging.
Doin' a WW2 era A bone that should be done soon, but is a slow go. Black also, '40 Dash, '36 21 stud, 16's, Thickstun, '32 chassis, steering, etc. , and hopefully my '36 chopped 5W taildragger will be on the road by this Summer.

Hatch, I agree, it's all in the "combination and execution", or as they say "the old becomes new again".
As a side note: those old tires of "mine" sure make your A stand out:eek: :D . Must be nice to know someone that never throws anything away
BTW, the temps are going to be in the 30's the next few days so there's no excuse for not having that thing DONE for lunch next Tuesday. :)

Badass hot rod. Just bitch'n. This is the kind of car that fills in the blanks about what everybody else is trying to copy.

  25. Perfection doesn't happen by accident. That's a well thought out plan that came together perfectly by someone who knew what they were doing. One of my favorites on the H.A.M.B. for sure!

Right wheels, right stance, right tire set, right colors, RIGHT ON!

As for hatch's project - right behind HOHR's.

Great projects - both of them.........I'd give my...........
