What year were the first single plane and tunnel ram intakes available for SBC?

huh? what is a shoebox intake? it is common knowledge that tunnel rams came out in about 1968, they are technically off topic here

Agreed^, but in explanation the Edelbrock TR-1 was known as the shoe box for its large plenum that was about the size of that item. And yes, Edelbrock came out with theirs in 1968, but the Ridge Ram preceded that by maybe a couple of years.

  6. I would think Creitz would be the first single plane intake, probably 1960.
