SBC solid cam recommendations?

    265...yeah, I did, but of all the GM cams (097, 30/30, LT1), the LT1 seems to have the best profile...I really like that 116 degree lobe seperation angle.

    If you like the sound of solids (I do) why not run a hydraulic cam (more choices)with Rhodes lifters. They sound like a perfectly adjusted set of solids. Some guys like them, some don't. I have run them for 10 years or so with no problems.

    cabriolet...good point, and Rhoades lifters have been around forever...I have used them as well.

    Thing is, I want an actual solid cam this time. Thats all.
