I was wondering what starter do you use for this application. I have three different set ups that are supposed to be out of cars. the one has a 11 inch clutch and larger flywheel while the other 2 have a 10 inch clutch with the smaller flywheel. All are the borg and beck style pressure plates. Please help. Thanks

In my 40 Ford with a SBC ... a Wilcap adapter was used ( in 1958 :) ) The combination used a 168 tooth flywheel, a 1950 Mercury pressure plate and a stock Ford disc. The Starter was a 55 -57 V8 Chevrolet starter that bolts to the bell housing. This starter was also used up into the 60's on V8 Chevrolet straight drive pikup trucks.
