I am looking for some valve covers for a sbc. Here are the specs...tall , standard 4 bolt straight across bolt pattern, Cast aluminum with fins, have baffles under PCV and breather...and Made in the USA.

    Too much to ask?

    Thanks,

    Scott

Or used Cal Custom versions if you're looking for tall, finned, no-logo VCs.

Used Cal customs or similar if you don't for sure have to have new. You can usually find some at most bigger swap meets and once in a while in a garage or yard sale. Wish I had pulled that set off the engine in the 57 GMC that I sold for my mom (was her boyfriends) a couple of years ago. They aren't hard to find in good condition but sometimes you may have to grit your teeth a bit when you hand over the asking price right now. What were ten dollar give aways ten years ago are the hot lick right now.

If there are some old independent parts houses in the area that tend to be a bit cluttered it doesn't hurt to snoop the shelves and ask either.
I've got such things as steel tear drop fender skirts, New but 20 years old Moon hub caps and Cal custom Hubcaps still in the original boxes in a couple of those places that never threw anything out.
