  1. Hello everyone Butch here from London ont Canada. I have been reading almost all of the info on RV cams, most of the info is about the chevy engines. I am kinda new at this so here is my question...
I have recently had my 302 in my 48 ford panel van rebuilt,,The builder had to rebore to .030 advised me to install better heads and an RV cam due to the weight of the vehicle 4700 lbs. Thats the model F47 Canadian. I have been driving it for a year since its rebuild. Yes it is a lot peppier now with a 4 bbl but I would like to punch it up a little more what are some options with out another rebuild. I am using an edelbrock stock manual choke carb I think its a 1406,Could I use a bigger carb or reset the timing or change the air cleaner fore more air--any help would be appreciated...BTW is an RV cam really any better then stock for a heavier vehicle.
