Martha Breedlove Johnson 1653 West 56th St. Los Angeles, CA 90062. Currently I am stringing him along. hoping to get a real I.D. Hope the above either begets a memory, or assists others in avoidance. Cosmo P.S. Phone numbers he has been using are: 213-237-1121 650-409-5839
If you can also post what these people usually sell and where. It would help the cause. I live in LA. This rather close. But I mostly deal with PayPal as business online. Meet with cash at swaps. But hardly ever find anything on Craigslist unless its buying a car or something large

The usual: I put an ad on CL, was contacted by William (apparently), he would pay by cheque, shipping added in, keep the change, yada yada. I led him on, he sent (fraudulent) cheque, I then played as if I cashed same, but stated I would deliver myself, in person. He freaked. Haven't heard anything all day, might send one more text, using the above name. It's been a bit of amusement. Cosmo
I get the same scammers when I post on craigs list. When they ask for an address for payment, I give them the address to the police dept and I give an alternate phone number to the police dept. Sometimes I call them out on their scam and call them scammers. Depends on the mood I'm in.
How do you know that's the real name and address of the person you're dealing with? I don't know that I've heard of scammers handing out their own real name and address in any dealings. They'd be better off to use someone else's name and address, after all, they weren't planning on you going there. Not defending scammers in any way, just would hate to be publishing the name and address of some innocent 3rd party unless you've confirmed who they are.
I would by happy to chip in some money to send him a box of dog shit. Collecting the shit would be on you.
The .gov should drop out of date or expired bunker busters on these assholes, whether at home or abroad or a call center, wherever, for training purposes and as a warning to others.
I post on CL and am often contacted by people who want my email address, etc, often they cannot construct a simple sentence in English, I send them this picture, never hear from them again:
Be aware that they have found a way to change phone numbers when they call. My wife received a phone call from her own phone number just recently. CN
yeah, "Rachel" from card services has been calling me for years. a different number every few weeks, and now they have figured out i am on a company phone, and we have about 30 phones with the numbers in sequence, and they call a few numbers off the end of ours. how do they figure this shit out? i now have to look at the number every time it rings
Same thing was happening around here. We reported it to the phone company, who after a while, shut it down. When I was at home and my own number popped up on the caller ID, I'd answer and say something like, "FBI, phone fraud division". You could hear it click almost as fast as I got the words out of my mouth!
I give what I got. I refuse to believe that the human refuse that does this are all that smart. Some may be, the rest are bottom dwellers best suited for cannon fodder. Cosmo
