Yes I admit it, been looking for a coupla years and decided to jump in. I always had a love of cars, but I am relatively new to hot rods. My hot rod is a 1940 Dodge pick up. My plan for the truck is to turn it into a g***er style ya I know Pick up. I love the look and I have seen so many slammed trucks that this one will be hi and mighty love me that mopar! I am doing the work myself so its slow to progress. I have 2 kids and they keep me buzy too. Also like everyone around here I do not have deep pockets so That effects the build, living in Canada and trying to build on a budget has its challenges too. The cab of the truck has been chopped 3 inches And now I am working on fitting the engine in. I am in the process of rebuilding my 1955 Dodge 270 hemi. The bottom end is done and At this point I am working on fitting the 4-71 blower to it. I will be using v belts to drive the blower. My goal here is to build the truck as it would have been done if it was the 1950s. So thanks in advance for your help!
