It did take the fun out of things for a while, and spooked us badly enough that I sold the '34 roadster. In retrospect that was a mistake, but I like the Hemi A roadster even better. And I ain't askeert to drive it.
I hit a deer with the Fargo a month or so again, just meant more miles on the Chrysler. **** happens. I won’t own a car I’m afraid to drive
Well I still am not scared to drive my monster on the street. However when I do I have my *** for the most part wired tight, watching, looking, listening, you name it. I have lots of back roads around me, not to say they do not have traffic , but far less then a interstate. If you are scared to take them out and enjoy, they are just garage art. Drive your hot rod, whatever happens, happens. Life is SHORT! Ok. I said my piece.
I'm kind of scared of driving my O/T car. It's one of 64 made, Formulas S 383, 4spd, Convertible. But, it's safe from me and others in the garage in 10,000 pieces waiting for the resto.
I do a lot of "free spirited" driving in my car.. But I always keep an eye out for boys in blue... I've been followed a few times in the last week or so..
