Evidently my recent post about this car was in the wrong forum and was removed. My bad. I have learned that John Lingenfelter did not ever own the car, thus he did not cut the rear window out, that was done before Schnelker and Losher bought the car. Lingenfelter did however build the engine currently in the car, a 302CI SBC. I would love to get any info and/or pics anyone has of the car, Would also like to get the correct spelling of a couple of names. Rex Dangler (tin work) and Jim Sedemskee (lettering). Jim had a sign shop at the time and was nationally known for his lettering of race cars.
The most common reason posts and threads are expunged here is because they contain vehicles, equipment, photos, and a timeline newer than 1965. Anything that isn't traditionally older is considered a breach of the agreed terms and your post will probably be wiped without an explanation.
if I remember correctly the car had centerline wheels, they did not have them back in 65... see the rules for the site here https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-h-a-m-b-rules-guidelines.44274/ ,
The lettering was done by Jim "Studinski". Sadly, I just learned that he p***ed on not quite a year ago. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/fort-wayne-in/james-studinski-10631196
