Here are 2 that I have rescued over the years. One is on a 33 Ford chassis with a 'Dix' body. the other is on a Diamond T chassis with an aluminum body by Southwest Aircraft built in Garland Texas just after WW2. I am moving and need to sell them. No titles but I have an extra 33 BB chassis and engine/drive train to go with the 33 bus. Hope somebody will make an offer as I don't want to scrap them. I need to head out west with a trailer and saws all. Just need the back section and the front section
@Okie Pete thanks for starting this one. Should be interesting. @anthony myrick a smart man doesn't haul empty. Whatcha got to bring out and make gas money?
The Ponca City schools would hire bus owners to pick up the kids . The Ford was one of a fleet that Lee Harney owned . There were 2 IH buses from the early 60’s on the property that got hauled off before I learned that the Family was cleaning up the place . I did also buy a couple cars that had been parked in a shed in 1961 .
^^^ I think I actually saw that driving through my little town last year! That or a club member brother of that guy. It really got my attention, made me think about how there is a lot going on out there I don't know nothing about.
I've always been surprised no one has tried to build a 1:1 Tom Daniel S'cool Bus. Lotta hot rodded buses, but no S'cool Bus. Imagine this at a nostalgia drag event!
Man you shouldn’t be showing me hot rod bus pictures. I just agreed to drive a bus for the local Christian school for next year. It would be fun to pick the kids up in a hot rod bus occasionally. But I imagine that all the hot rod would be regulated out of it by the time you got it to code.
