School me....Vortec heads with older intakes/headers

Hey guys...

I'm curious to know if the Vortec SBC heads port configuration and bolt patters/angles will accept older intakes ie: Offy/Weiand/Edelbrock 2x4, 4x2 & 6x2, Man A Fre, X rams styled intakes etc...

I know the valve covers wont take the older style VCs but what about intake choices as far as the old stuff goes?

 

Headers will work.
The intakes won't...totally different bolt pattern/bolt angle.
The ports may be different as well, but don't quote me on that part!
