Is the Schrader Valve (fuel pressure relief valve) on a Ford V6 fuel log the same as a A/C Schrader Valve? If it is leaking can it be repaired. I don't see any listed at any parts store and Ford service bulletin says it was discontinued from 1999 and up. Mine is a '98.

  3. Seems to me a shrader valve is a shrader valve. When I need one for my truck AC I just went to Autozone and got a box full of 'em .. ???

Probably one of few parts that will fit either a bike tube or a semi truck. As previously said, I think a schrader is a schrader is a schrader. But, I'm not a schrader expert. Stu

There are at least two different Schraeder valve cores. Take out the one you have and match it up at the auto parts store. They'll sell 'em each under airconditioning parts.
