any of the "bullshitters" notice the point of the story? you'll find the deals if you follow up on EVERY old car lead you get! if some ol lady says there is a forty or fifty something 4 door rottin in her yard, go check the fucker out!

and there are still lots of people that don't have these funny computer things, and thus have no idea what the fuck ebay is, or what 32 parts are going for now...

Well, so much for my BIG SCORE! Got this sumbitch out from under the huge pile of junk and guess what. It ain't no 32 roadster! As Forrest Gump said" I'm not a smart man" but even I could tell it was a cutoff Model A coupe. You guys will laugh your asses off when you see this POS I dragged home. It's rougher than a stucco bathtub. Someone bobbed the rear quarters and built a gawd-awful roll pan. They tunneled two tail lights per side. Guess what they used for the tunnels. Tomato cans! It's covered with house paint, the cowl is missing, they chopped the doors, no trunk lid, one bobbed, mashed back fender, etc. But on the bright side I already have a frame to put it on. What ever I do to this thing has got to improve it. There's nowhere to go but up! To all the skeptics who responded; you were right, I was wrong. But I'm not going to stop looking! Yesterday I spotted what looks like a complete Model A tudor sedan out behind a shop in a neighboring town. Also a 70 Chevelle, 62 Tempest 4-dr, 60 Catalina htp and a 57 Buick sedan. That old shit is getting scarce but its still out there. Now, let the derision begin.

    I don't care if it's a '32 or not.
    I WANNA SEE SOME PICTURES!

I don't care how junky it looks or how lousy you think it is. If I found a '30s body for $200, I would have bought it, too.

Well, guys, I've been trying to figure out my wife's new computer and as you might guess..... I'M TOO DAMNED STOOPID TO SEND PICTURES! I've been working on the "lil douche coupe" aleady. Good name, huh! Especially since I took such a hosing on this deal. It's just a hacked up modelA but I'm seeing possibilities. One thing about it, no matter what I do to it the car will be better than it sits now. This will be a good place for me to practice my metalworking skills and try my hand at some fabrication. This thing is very incomplete. Is there a way to ID this body without front fenders or a top. I understand that 28-29's are different from 30-31's? I've seen a few of these coupesters on this board but not in one place all together. I'm really going to need help with making this hack job look presentable. Any info or things you learned the hard way doing your coupester would be welcome. I'm enjoying the HAMB big time. It keeps me humble and reminds me not to take things too seriously.

28-29s have a narrower cowl with a rather pronounced inward swoop beginning where the windshield posts would be to the front of the cowl. 30-31s don't taper nearly as much from the a pillar to the firewall. I'll see if I can find some pics...
