Great car to begin with! My 5 window started out as a pile of rusted, bashed up body parts in a shortbox chevy pickup and I still have a loooooooooong way to go. Looks like a lotta fun.Keep us informed on the new engine swap.

Did you ever diagnose why the old engine lost oil pressure? I also read your story about how you acquired the car. I think it is neat that you treated the older fellow with respect, listened to his stories and were rewarded for your patience and respect later on.
