Cool find...and good for you for carrying on Lesters dream. He will be looking down a smiling huge when you get working on that car. Make him and his understanding kid proud, and drive it back to his place when you get it runnin!!! Keep us posted.
I started to pull things apart of the car. I was worried that the body lines were altered when the fenders were welded to the body. Its a good thing that someone years ago was a not so talented welder. things kinda came off easier than I had thought. the body lines are all there and in tact. i got the nos fuel tank installed. I also pulled the front end apart to start the bone split, new spring and a bit of a freshing up! here are a few pics
COOL SCORE MAN, Would love to find somethin like that. What is you'r plans for it. Are you going to make every many changes to the body or leave it close to the way it was built. Either way it should be a very cool build. Good luck and can,t what for more pics.
well finally got a few minutes to do a few things the the car. I fit the firewall in that i got from bills a farm. banged out the flanges so they fit the firewall a good bit better. found a dash rail and the tank is also just about fit right now. now......waiting for the brown truck to drop off more things.
did A lilttle bit today. got the body off and tacked the rear spring perches on to the later rear. cleaned up a bunch of ****. as anything you buy sometimes you see what has been done to the car and all you can say is hmmmmm. interesting.
