Last weekend the gods were kind to me. I bought 4 cars. A 28 2-door body with the wood and chicken wire still in it. A 1948 Monarch ( Canadian top of the line Merc ) big door coupe with a nice body, a 46 ford coupe parts car with a mint trunk lid, the lid is a keeper and the best find, a 57 Canadian Pontiac sedan delivery. Less than 220 produced. This is the Canadian Pontiac with the chevy frame and chevy running gear and the shorter Pontiac fenders. Definitely a good weekend.
Shiney, this is almost as rare as your father in laws 58 Pontiac sedan delivery. I have only ever seen 2-57's and 1- 58. Brought the 48 coupe home last weekend. Have to get the 57 next week. 3 hours from here. I have about 10 cars to haul in yet before the snow flies. Have you checked my website lately. I have a bunch of new stuff for sale.

[/ QUOTE ] All I did was asked him what he wanted at the Estevan swap meet last weekend and what his bottom line was and he sold it to me. He had a picture board there with the 57 on it. Does that make me an ****hole? I guess I had better stop buying cars. I don't want to offend anyone.
I think he ment the guy you bought it from.Pat your not an ****hole,Mr ****hole right!LOL.......Shiny
I was dealing with Terry from Old Prarie cars on it. I got three or four emails and calls from him on it, but I think he was some sort of locater, because he never would give me an address where I could go look at it. All the best with it, though. I got a front end for it with a good grille if you need it didn't mean to offend you, I was after it to go with my 56 Poncho delivery. Enjoy it, you got a rare one there.
My website is http://groups.msn.com/goldenoldiesvintagetin If you have trouble getting to it, go to yahoo search and type in golden oldies vintage tin and it is the first search to come up. Pat.
