Saw an ad on the HAMB for a '34 Ford Cab, with no picture, just an email address. It was local to me, so I went to see it. When I saw the condition, it blew me away, and I jumped on it. It was restored in the '70's, and purchased by the guy I bought it from 4 years ago. He put a 59AB in it, along with a '39 box, and juice brakes. He's not a Hot Rodder, and has over 10 stock Model A's. He was out of space and needed room before the winter hit. We made a deal last Friday, and I left him a small deposit before returning today with the cash. To his credit, he was offered significantly more from a guy in Australia, but he kept his word, and I got the car. No small feat in today's world. It is without a doubt the nicest early Ford body I've ever seen. No rust or patch panels. Stay tuned for the transformation this Spring.
Love stories about good men of good integrity. A handshake deal that withstands temptations and bribes...Rare these days. Glad to hear of your good fortune. Anxious to see what you have in store for this beauty...
Yes but we don’t know if the ad was worded as a 34 Cab (truck) or it actually said Cabriolet and the OP is the one who did the abbreviation.
