Hey Don, Terrill Machine is at 1000 CR454,De Leon,TX. 76444
    phone 254-893-2610
I have bought a lot of NOS Early Olds Rocket engine parts there.
There's a better than even chance they would have a .040 NOS
    392 piston. They ship everyday.

    Group:
Thanks every one for the offers of help for the Scorpion 1. I have found a supplier and ordered a piston, rings, main bearings and a sleeve. Now if all that comes into alignment all will be kool.
I hope to see many of you at Bowling Green.
    Thanks Don Ross

    Don,
I hate to hear this....pulling up next to the Scorpion 1 was "THE BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT:D" of running the little Flathead Dragster.....just seeing the 2 old timey cars go thru the burnouts was sooo much cooler that seeing that car "just cackleing and acting". The win was anti-clamatic.....the scene at the starting line was "the show:cool:"......

Dang....I had a "plan" for some "close racing action" between the both of us....

Like I have told you already, having just the chance to pull up by that fabulous piece of history was a special privilage, and I thank you for that opportunity....but I'm not giving up on you:rolleyes:, yet.

Well, we got a new KB piston and some bearings. Charles sleeved the block and we fired it up Sunday. Its in the Scorpion V's trailor and we are leaving Dallas around 5:00 PM wed.

I will have some torsion bar ***embleys and steering boxes there for sale. Also I will have some "QuicKill" engine shut down kits with me. Be sure to see the "Saftey Slider" drive line disconect on display.
    See you there Don Ross
