I agree, this country is being stripped bare, jobs, cars, s****, everything is leaving except the illegals, who are pouring in to clean up the remains. Our addiction to cheap junk and cheap labor will be our downfall. We're in big trouble.
Now close this thread, and we'll all pretend it isn't happening.

  4. pretend it isn't happening. Good idea, except that next time you want a part or a project between the declining dollar and the rapid s****ping it will cost 10 times as much.

I'm glad I bought a bunch of $300 cars in the last 4-5 years, because I can s**** the stripped hulks of the worst of them now and make money on them. The coupes and convertibles, I figure the higher s**** goes the more they're worth as antiques.

  5. 2 solutions there.

    1) don't but cheap **** at Walmart (unless you already do not) If nobody went to Walmart, it would close down.

    2) take that above Walmart money and buy an old car, stash it at your place. It is an investment now. You would be amazed what you can still buy for the price of a few tanks of gas today!

the prewar stuff survived cause nobody could buy any new cars or even parts during the war and they had to keep running what they had or save them for parts. All of the stripped ones went to the s**** yard .

just think how many new chinase die cast collectables will fit on your shelf made out of your old cars. How many new Hot Wheel cars can be made out of a 55 buick?.

  9. I have been looking for a cheap AD truck to put on my S10 and saw a nice solid one on a trailer at the truck stop. I talked to the guy and he bought it off of a s****per who was going to get it crushed. At least some of them are being saved.
