Here is what I'm thinkin since my coupe is mostly trashed. I have been studying Cboys book, and I figured I might build a extended cab pickup body to replace most of what was smashed, I get that it's a lot of work, but I have been a steel fabricator for 20 plus years and wrenching on cars even longer, my title says 1931 and I'm keeping the cowl and frame. Question is would it still be a '31 or something else. It will get a stretch, to allow the longer cab and stock length A bed ? Any ideas
If your working with the remains of a 31 and you have a title I would think it would still be a 31 and wouldn't open a can of worms with the DMV with trying to change anything as long as it still has the VIN numbers. HRP
